These are StenoWorks' brand new Stentura NICD 7.2 volt, 1.4Ah battery packs.  These are exactly the same batteries that were originally sold by Stenograph.  

Unable to get through an entire day of testimony with your battery? It may be time to replace it. A new battery lasts up to 24 hours on a fresh charge in a Stentura LX. Replace your batteries every 12 to 18 months for best results and to avoid frequent recharging.

To learn the age of your current battery, look at the four-digit code on the back. The first two digits indicate the week and the last two digits indicate the year the battery was made. Example: 3998 indicates the battery was made the 39th week of 1998. Time to order a new battery!

Batteries work in all Stentura models, however performance varies with the model. Battery life is also affected by realtime connections which require more power.

These work perfectly in Stentura 400, 400SRT, 500, 6000, 6000LX, 8000, 8000LX, ProCAT Flash & Stylus I.  They do not work in the Protege or the Fusion!
