The Stentura Protege battery is an NiMh type which when fully charged operates the machine for approximately 3 to 4 days. A completely discharged battery fully charges in the machine in 12 to 14 hours.  Continuous charging does not harm the batteries.  Each battery is good for about 200 recharges before needing to be replaced.
