This is a great writer rental that has a nice electric touch and depending on your CAT system easy to use with a direct USB realtime connection.  The Protege computerized writer allows you to connect to your computer using any CAT system.  We include both the serial cable connection and the direct USB connection.  This writer works with Plover or any other CAT system like Case Catalyst, Eclipse or DigitalCAT.

This writer comes with a new NiMh rechargeable battery which allows you to use it independent of a power source.  Just charge it overnight and you should have power all day, the next day.  The writer connects to a computer in order for you to see what you are typing. The writer has been shimmed to a shorter depth of stroke giving it a nicer feel.
